Hello Texas! Sure’s good to see you again!

Home in Texas for the week and having a blast! It’s already going by way too fast.

Hanging out with family and friends is always a nice little vacation from my full time job- auditioning!

Enjoy this blooper reel I put together from when Ashley and I filmed our Toddlers and Tiaras Spoof a few months back.

Hope everyone has a loverly week!

I’ll go back to Manhattan

This has been my first summer in 6 years that I haven’t spent in New York. At the beginning of summer I wasn’t sure how I would like being away from my city. Looking back, I have to say it was one of the best summers I’ve ever had! So glad I was home for June 3rd. Had the time of my life in eating macaroons with Nikki in Paris for a week. Got to spend lots of time with my nieces and nephew and wonderful sisters and brother in laws. Then I spent three weeks building life long friendships with the most amazing group of people and doing what I’ve always wanted to do; getting payed to perform a character that got to sing and dance her butt off on a stage I’ve been dreaming about performing on since I was a little girl!

Not to shabby of  a summer if I say so myself!

I’m back in the city now and loving NY more than ever. I’m beyond excited to see where life takes me next! In the words of Eric Robertson, fellow cast mate in Urban, “New Life. New Look. New You. New York!”

Things I’m Thinking

-Some people just don’t know when to stop.

-I’ve found myself in the midst of grumpy people lately. I try to be extra happy but it seems to make the room sadder… Lighten up people.

-I’m on a major blog high. Can’t get enough of Apartment 34, Design Love Fest, my Lens of Love… there are so many brilliant people in this world!

-It feels good to be at the studio again. Different but the same.

-I REALLY need to do a photoshoot. ASAP.

-Anxiously awaiting Valentines Day. Anthropologie’s Wedding Line is being released. Dream come true! (I’m a huge wedding geek…)

-As of this very moment: New York= 30 degrees, Houston=59 degrees. Jealous, slushy New York???

-What was my life like without Ashley Van Pelt? I don’t remember.

-If you slur the words, “It’s Alright” so that it said, “S’alright,” it sounds like “Sorry.”

-I love my family so so much. I must say, I love living with my bro-in-law, Ryan. I never had brothers, so its fun to have some brotherly teasing. He gives the best advice and always provides great conversation. He and Nat are the cutest couple and I love seeing them all the time!!

-Been home for a week now and do you think I’ve emptied my suitcases? Probably should get on that…

-I’m about to turn 19? This year has certainly flown.

-Isn’t this photo just stunning:

have a great week!

I Never Thought I’d Say This

But I’m so excited to go back to Houston!

Things I’ve particularly missed (besides friends and family):

1. My adorable doggies, Bobby and BJ.

2. Tokyo Bowl. Before I’m even going to my house when I get home I’m eating at Tokyo Bowl. Four months without it has been dreadful.

3. Luis’ class. I can’t wait for him to whip my bootay back in shape.

4. My room. I miss having my own things around me.

5. My Wife, Ashley Van Pelt. I miss this girl so stinkin much and I’m pretty sure we’re going to be inseparable for the next month.

I am currently…

…being really lazy. And it feels great.

…looking forward to going home to Houston. Ok, I said it! Fam, friends, Tokyo Bowl, dogs, Rafa… need I say more?

…enjoying spending time with my bestie here in the city.

…prepping to make my move to the heights!

…really missing my RCMH fam. It’s been a week…

…in need of groceries.

…staring at the window. More snow!

…a bookworm. I’m reading so much these days and love it!

…in denial that it’s 2011.

…listening to Jonathan Reid Gealt’s “Quiet” by Natalie Weiss. Buy it! Incredible song. Jonathan is such a talented song writer and Natalie Weiss is just a stunning songstress.

…enjoying my last month of Netflix.

…getting ready to do some major cleaning in my apartment.

…wishing my entire wardrobe was 1930’s-1950’s clothing.

…wondering what 2011 is going to bring.
